"Mad About the Boy": Comedic Confrontation Between Actors & Protestors

As an energetic group of actors works to mount a gay musical production, they're a bit surprised to find themselves confronted by a passionate group of protestors. A patchwork quilt of crazy comedy, this 13th Street Repertory Company production of "Mad About the Boy" was written by ASCAP Award-winning writer-director Chip Deffaa ("One Night With Fanny Brice"). Featuring a rich selection of gay songs, both old and new, this amusing musical and its cast of 10 talented actors deliver an entertaining behind-the-scenes look at the mad world of theater.
