About The Stargazer Lilies, Dead Leaf Echo, Altocamet, United Ghosts

N/E PA based the Stargazer Lilies are the brainchild of husband and wife team, John Cep and Kim Field, pioneers of shoegaze's new wave with former band Soundpool. The Stargazer Lilies is the evolution of their gaze, this time with added psych rock elements (think MBV meets Pink Floyd). Cep's heavy effects-driven guitars are accented by drummer, Tammy Hirata's minimalist approach, along with Field's dreamy vocals and drony bass lines. Following their debut album We Are The Dreamers in 2013, their sound was described in Spin Magazine as a "reverb-washed slo-mo assault of Slowdive with the sparkling ambiance of air channeled into a lush, guitar-swollen whole. Psych-fuzz epic." Pop Matters says, "The Stargazer Lilies possess a truly widescreen, cinematic sound with crescendos that build cascading waves of sound enveloping your whole body. The music is a bit darker than standard dream pop fare, but that only makes it that much more mesmerizing." Brad Laner of Medicine describes them like this: "This is what your socalled shoegaze is supposed to sound like. Incredible melodies and singing plus great guitar work." Door To The Sun, their second full-length, is set to be released in Spring/Summer 2016 on Graveface Records.

Dead Leaf Echo. The words are rich literature. Nabakov. Conjured images of drugged passions fading into nihilistic apprehension. An Art Project blossomed in 2006, DLE has matured rapidly since it's birth now unveiling their unique style of Nouveau Wave.

DLE has released numerous EP's, Singles and Remixes in addition to their noir film videos and heavy tour schedule prompting Time Out NY to call them "Some of the best live music in the city" The band just played Escape to NY festival and SXSW last year on bills with The Psychedelic Furs and A Place to Bury Strangers and rocked sold out shows last year opening for 90?s shoegaze legends Chapterhouse and Ulrich Schnauss.

Dead Leaf Echo's previous work with Ulrich Schnauss on their Pale Fire EP has now caught the attention of famed 4AD producer John Fryer (Cocteau Twins, This Mortal Coil) who has mixed their debut LP "Thought and Language" to be released early this year. A concept album that follows the conception and birth of a child and his discovery of thought and language.

By incorporating elements of ambient, baroque, dream-pop, shoegaze, new wave, and goth, and crafting every aspect of their sound and vision, they remain one of the few left willing to work on high-art as concept. Chiming guitars in twin stereo reverbs with shimmering vocals and silky basslines. Dead Leaf Echo runs the gamut of what is now possible within the contemporary underground by running at the forefront of the indie NYC music scene.

Los Angeles band United Ghosts blends a seemingly dizzying collection of influences that range from Dream Pop and Electronica to classic Psychedelia and Krautrock into a cohesive, hypnotic sound that celebrates its influences, while keeping one eye firmly set towards the future.

Initially conceived as a loose garage-studio project by founding members and co-vocalists Sha Sabi and Axel Ray Steuerwald, United Ghosts have released two (7')singles plus 2013's self-titled debut album to much public and critical acclaim, picking up extensive radio play by such Indie-rock mavens as Steve Lamacq, Lauren Laverne (BBC6) Nic Harcourt (KCSN) Jamie Kennedy (XFM London) and many others. The record fared especially well in the UK, where it was picked up by Cargo records for distribution and has made U.G. many devoted fans of both their recorded output and visceral live shows.

After two successful UK/European tours, a slew of US shows (including CMJ New York) and a buzzing LA residency in 2013, UG went back into the studio to work on new music. Mostly self-producing, the band had help at the mixing stages from Producer/Engineer Drew Fisher (Le Sera, Cold Showers, Darker My Love). The result was the 2014 EP entitled "Dear Electric Sun", which marked a shift in sound towards the more synth based and electronic, while keeping the signature dreamy twin vocals and widescreen guitars.

A series of radical "Dear Electric Sun" remixes followed, the latest by Chris Seligman from the band Stars. United Ghosts are currently in the studio recording tracks for a new album and a single slated for an early 2016 release.

'The excitement hits with the first notes, this electro-shoegaze dou are like a revved up Raveonettes Primal Scream mashup, flying high'. THE BIG TAKEOVER

'A transatlantic collision of vintage valve amps and futurist electronics'. VOLUME, UK

'Electronic-laced indie with ambient and shoegaze elements. Be watching for them'. LA RECORD

'Out of Love is a ceaseless anthem of shoegazey pop, the song doesn't really let up, and that's a good thing. Every song on the EP is an anthemic wall of sound where the dynamics rarely shift out of the higher gears. Artist of the Month'.
