"Wall to Wall Johnny Cash": Concert Salute to the Man in Black

This same-day two-concert event stars more than two dozen indie acts coming together to celebrate the music of Johnny Cash at Symphony Space. The afternoon segment opens with tunes that fall under the theme of "Love & Death", including iconic songs like "Ring of Fire," "Sunday Morning Coming Down," "Delia's Gone" and "Ain't No Grave," set to be performed by Dayna Kurtz, Mamie Minch, Morgan O'Kane, Eric Mingus and others. For the evening concert, "Prison & The Man in Grass", you'll experience a full set from Cash's live 1968 disc, "Live at Folsom Prison", from Brooklyn's own Superhuman Happiness, as well as a bluegrass salute by Grammy-winning banjo player Alison Brown.
