The Flying Solo Festival 2: New One-Person Shows

Long Island City's The Secret Theatre serves up the second in its series of confessional solo shows, performed by both savvy veterans and exciting up-and-comers and voted on by you. These one-person pieces range from comedy to mystery to drama and even sci-fi, as in "Sleepwalk", about a guy who volunteers for a one-man mission to Mars. Other offerings include "Lady Land!" which follows a Southern senior citizen as she discovers and delves into her new sexual identity, and "Bug Bite", a touching work about a woman who's blindsided by a breast cancer diagnosis.
