About The Danbees Residency w/ The Rub, RJ Fletcher

The Danbees are an American rock & roll band based in New York City that was started by college classmates Mark Slotoroff (vocals/guitar) and Wade McManus (drums/vocals) in 2014. Upon graduating from Ithaca College, Mark called upon childhood friend Shane Matthews (lead guitar) to join the band while Wade reached out to longtime friend and previous band mate Sam Enright (bass).

The Danbees are straight up rock & roll. Categorized by their riff heavy songs and simplistic lyrics about faltered love stories or shitty girlfriends, they excel on stage with their live show. Whether it's excessive partying, band members rolling on the floor, or an impromptu drum solo, The Danbees have established themselves as rock & roll for the modern era.

The Rub is a NYC-based power trio that have been together for over 14 years and have payed many clubs in and around Manhattan. The Rub???s first full-length album ???Someone Tell Me Where My Memory Went??? was released in 2014. Currently, The Rub is writing and rehearsing material for their next album. Jeffrey Burke started working under the stage name RJ Fletcher in 2013 after a nice run as guitarist for NY Rock Band Two Cent Sam. Jeff decided to go out on his own and instantly wrote music from the heart and for the soul. Longtime friend and former band mate Cary Siegler joined up on drums in 2016 and they just finished their new album DRINKS ON ME in May of 2017. The 6 song project exceeded their expectations and they are ready to rock n roll all summer long!
