House of Time: "Telemann and the Italians"

House of Time, an accomplished new period-instrument ensemble featuring Juilliard faculty members and international competition winners, takes on pieces by Castello, Legrenzi, Corelli, and Telemann at the Lounge at Hudson View Gardens. Specializing in music of the 17th and 18th centuries on period instruments, House of Time is set to explore the vibrant works of Italian composers of the 1600s, while also demonstrating their influence on the great German Telemann, a contemporary of Bach and Handel, who was one of the most prolific composers of the Baroque era.
