Swamp Gumbo: New Orleans-Style Party Band

The spicy sounds of Cajun, Creole and zydeco music come together with a dash of R&B to create a satisfying musical stew, thanks to the New Orleans-style party band known as Swamp Gumbo. Fronted by lead singer Kati Mac, who's performed with Meat Loaf and Sting, this funky outfit plays the genre's classics from artists like Professor Longhair, Allen Toussaint, Dr. John, The Neville Brothers and more. The group also includes trumpeter Tim Ouimette, bassist Steve Count, singer/songwriter Sherryl Marshall and drummer Denny McDermott.
