Strange Weather

trange Weather is the experimental pop music project of Baltimore-born, Brooklyn-based composer/producer Sean Brennan. After years of playing in bands, performing solo shows, composing for chamber ensembles, and producing music for television, radio, and experimental theatre, Brennan blended together a broad spectrum of influences and approaches into one sound. Although he plays most of the instruments in the arrangements, he drew from the ocean of talent in New York, including drummer Dan Drohan (Bermuda Kid, Anglow, Wilsen) and woodwind player Avram Fefer. And to help mix the three songs on Strange Weather’s debut release, legendary Baltimore songwriter and producer Woody Ranere (Lake Trout, Mt. Royal, With Lions, etc.) was brought in to solidify the soundscape, adding a touch of mystery to the songs on Lonely Romance.
