About Robbing Johnny, Lovechild, Fort Vine, N'KOGNIITO, Kay Odyssey

Making noise in Harlem.

Lovechild is the musical project of New York based singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist Leo Liebeskind.

Part glam, part mystic romance, Austin's Kay Odyssey
stir up influences from Cocteau Twins, Siouxsie and the
Banshees, Wire, Pil, Bow Wow Wow, The Who and T-Rex.
Led by singer/guitarist Kristina Boswell, previously of
No Mas Bodas. Her songs of romance, betrayal, and
underworld flashes are lit up by Liz Burrito's lunar
guitar soundscapes and Kelsey Wickliffe's harmonies
and melodic bass. Vajaja Valejo's dynamic and pulsat-
ing drum work completes the dream.

Here's a blurb about our new album:

In comparison to the beautifully dark dissonance of their
first release, Chimera. What???s a woman to do displays a
brighter and edgier side of the group both sonically and
lyrically. The band also experiments with some new
instrumentation with the addition of guest violin appear-
ing on several tracks, as well as Kristina's psyched out
keyboard work on "Hold my Hand Tight"
The album oscillates between upbeat psych rock n roll to
lush, introspective beauty. What's a woman to do, contains
themes of love, desire, the necessity of freedom and the
power of creative redemption.
