Sisters Helene and Celia, performing as Les Nubians, combine their African roots with jazzy nuances, funky rhythms and a hint of British soul, all delivered in their uniquely elegant French style. In 2004, Les Nubians received a Grammy Award nomination; they've also been nominated for two NAACP Image Awards, and won a Soul Train Lady of Soul Award.
