Described as "TED Talks with grass stains," the always engaging "Pitch: Talks on Baseball" discussion series brings the subject of the New York Mets up to the plate for their latest edition at B.B. King's Blues Club. A panel consisting of sportswriters and bloggers who cover the MLB and the Mets themselves are set to intelligently discuss anything and everything to do with The Amazin's, in a live forum that's proven to be much more entertaining than your everyday sports-radio chatter. Moderated by Mike Puma of the "New York Post", this session is scheduled to feature Mark Carig ("New York Newsday"), Anthony Dicomo (MLB.com), Jorge Arangure ("VICE Sports"), Emma Span ("Sports Illustrated"), Darren Meenan ("The 7th Line"), Matthew Cerrone (Mets Blog) and Jeff Paternostro ("Amazin' Avenue").
