About Nat Osborn (solo)

New York native Nat Osborn is a restless soul. He has studied tabla in India, played guitar on the streets of Budapest, written songs on Spanish balconies, packed venues across NYC, and been deported from the U.K., all before the age of 25. A natural and prolific songwriter, his fluency in crossing genres creates a unique and truly original sound.

With nearly a decade of performance, songwriting, and band leading experience under his belt, Osborn set out in 2011 to assemble a seven-piece powerhouse ensemble, “The Nat Osborn Band.” Osborn’s raspy vocals and euphoric hooks, matched with the band’s dangerously tight rhythm section and powerful three piece horn section has resulted in sold out shows at Rockwood Music Hall stage 2, Brooklyn Bowl, Cameo Gallery and many other North East venues and colleges. Having performed with the likes of Paul Simon, Wynton Marsalis, Ludacris, and Marc Broussard, Osborn’s seasoned bandmates have created a completely undeniable performance unit with a truly captivating sound.

Producer Alex Bilowitz (Jose James, Diane Birch, Leighton Meester), Osborn and an intoxicating mix of New York City’s best musicians have masterfully captured Osborn’s vision in the band’s debut album “The King and the Clown”. Recorded in 2011 at Mission Sound and Eusonia Studios, mixed by Grammy Award winner Scott Jacoby (John Legend, Fabolous, Vanessa Hudgens) and mastered by Emily Lazar (The Shins, Foo Fighters, Vampire Weekend), the future looks very rewarding for The Nat Osborn Band..
