Kevin Andreas Single Release Party

Driven by sound, Andreas has always pushed musical boundaries. He is always trying to stretch, grow, and in turn, hone his sound. The writer, producer, singer and multi-instrumentalist, was raised in Upstate NY. Kevin began assembling bands in high school and started playing gigs on the weekends. He found himself jamming with adult musicians and being able to keep up. ???That???s how I started learning how to connect with audiences, and how to create music,??? he says. Kevin has a virtuosic gift when it comes to the guitar, but not one to be pinned down, he plays several other instruments as well.

In his late teens, Kevin Andreas began teaching guitar lessons and learning audio engineering. At the age of twenty-two he was able to relocate to New York City and opened his own recording studio in Williamsburg. Kevin spent time behind the spotlight as a sideman, studio musician, singer/writer, and producer. During this time, he co-wrote and sang the hook on A$AP Rocky???s breakout hit, ???Peso.??? He is also the musical director for comedienne Sandra Bernhard.

Andreas released an introductory project for fans that took off beyond expectation. Vents Magazine called it ???sexy, haunting and utterly awesome??? while Paste Magazine cited the song as an ???empowering anthem that combines energetic instrumentation and rock bombast with a soft, soulful melody.???A track was featured on Filtr???s Spotify ???NEW MUSIC??? playlist, as well as Filtr???s ???Artists to Watch??? Spotify playlist. By late 2016, the track had garnered enough acclaim to warrant Spotify to place it on ???Discover Weekly,??? leading the track to garner 75k+ streams, all while still completely independent.

Kevin was recently chosen to perform as direct support for Sabrina Carpenter (Hollywood Records) at Musikfest, and has also opened for Andy Grammer. He has performed at notable NYC venues such as Highline Ballroom, Brooklyn Bowl, Gramercy Theater, BB Kings and Webster Hall. Kevin continues to perform in and around NYC and will be touring this upcoming spring / summer.

Andreas is currently finishing up his debut solo LP The Electric Life and is looking to release the album in the coming months. Tracks featuring Andreas???otherworldly guitar playing, along with his contemporary pop sensibility, will be highlighted on the LP. The new album is poised to launch Andreas to a larger audience and continued success.
