Homme

Homme is an experiment in guitar and vocals by by acclaimed Chicago-based singer-songwriters Macie Stewart and Sima Cunningham. Adopting a mantra rooted in musical exploration, Homme began challenging not only how their music was structured, but how it was being created. Homme started this project wanting to play instruments that would challenge them, so that they could use them as tools for which they didn't have any (or at least many) preconceived ideas about how they should be played. The duo draws from a diverse pool of musical thought ranging from free improvisation, to experimental rock, to Irish folk music. Their self-titled debut will be out this spring.
