Brooklyn-based pianist/composer Jesse Fischer is an exciting new voice in jazz and soul music. A triple threat as musician, engineer, and producer, Fischer has recorded six albums as a leader with his jazz/funk unit Soul Cycle, most recently the ObliqSound release Retro Future. Fischer is known for his warm, soulful touch, and bold, spacious compositions. As a keyboard player, he has performed with artists as diverse as Stevie Wonder, Freddie Jackson, Andy Allo, Engelbert Humperdinck, Laura Izibor, Black Moon, and N'Dambi, and his playing is featured on Anthony Hamilton's Grammy-nominated album Back To Love. In addition, Fischer co-produced and engineered Laura Izibor's Brooklyn Sessions, Vol. 1 EP on Atlantic Records and is currently lending his production/engineering talents to the emerging artists Exenia, Rachel Eckroth, Ezra Brown, Melanie Charles, and Brenda Nicole Moorer.
