About Hannah & Maggie, Black Horse Motel, Kings
Hannah & Maggie, a young award-winning singer songwriter folk pop act from NYC/Northampton MA. Commended as "the blue-eyed soul of folk" and "a flawless continuation of the singer-songwriter tradition", most often compared to The Indigo Girls and Simon & Garfunkel. In 2014, they released their third CD - In The Company of Strangers, were featured in Curve Magazine & 100 Women We Love in GO Magazine, performed & interviewed on WFUV, played a couple dates and sang with Ben Taylor (son of James Taylor & Carly Simon) and wrote some new tunes coming out in the near future. Their live shows are toe-tapping, knee-slapping spectacles of crystal-clear harmonies and heartfelt acoustic arrangements that leave you wanting more.

Philadelphia-based Americana band Black Horse Motel conjures a sound that draws on traditional folk roots, along with many other influences, and ties it together with unifying vocal harmonies. Songs are built on the foundations of folk music, but are elevated by an infectious blend of the traditional banjo and mandolin, with guitars, strings, drums and voices. The resulting sound is dexterous, rich, accessible and toe-tapping. Black Horse Motel have performed at Musikfest, Philadelphia Folk Festival, and many of Philadelphia’s popular venues, including World Cafe Live, Kung Fu Necktie, Tin Angel, Milkboy Coffee, Boot & Saddle, and Underground Arts. Black Horse Motel have been featured as live performers on several radio programs, including Gene Shay’s Folk Show on WXPN, Folkadelphia on XPN2, and Y-Not Radio.
Kings (Emily Bielagus and Steph Bishop) is New York City's premier queer country band. Their first EP is a gorgeous five-song set blending the group's trademark close harmonies with crisp guitar strumming and poetically confessional songwriting. Kings performs all over NYC and the Northeast, at such notable venues as The Knitting Factory and Joe's Pub, as well as the legendary Club Passim in Boston.
