Frida Kahlo al Fresco Evenings at NY Botanical Garden

Take a trip to Mexico and step inside iconic artist Frida Kahlo's studio at The New York Botanical Garden's "Frida al Fresco Evenings". This after-hours event allows you to experience the "FRIDA KAHLO: Art, Garden, Life" exhibit accompanied by live music, performance art and a complimentary draft "cerveza" or traditional margarita. You'll have the chance to see rare Kahlo works focusing on the artist's connection to the natural world. Then get transported to Kahlo's famed garden and studio at the Casa Azul, reimagined in the Conservatory. This feast for the senses is topped off with the surrounding natural beauty of the Botanical Garden. There are special events throughout the run, including a Frida and Diego lookalike contest and more.
