The award-winning choreographer, a founder of distinguished New York experimental dance troupe Mabou Mines, presents the New York premiere of his newest work, "I Understand Everything Better", at Abrons Arts Center. "I Understand Everything Better" is a multidisciplinary performance piece that explores humanity's impulse to report on calamity and "the consciousness of traumatic change." Innovative technology, personal narratives and even weather reports converge within a framework inspired by classical Japanese theater.
