Hailing from New York City, DatFunK is ready to take the world of live music performance by storm. In less than little over a month since coming together, DaTFunK received the stamp of approval from countless music industry professionals and musicians. Because Of You: A Tribute to Stevie Wonder's Songs in the Key of Life was originally supposed to serve as a standalone tribute video to the legendary singer/songwriter. DATFunK was invited to perform their tribute as a concert. The band performed the show three times, twice inside of Lucille's Bar and Grill and once inside of the main room. All sold out. DATFunK! completed their video in May and it is expected to be released sometime in July.

DATFunK's Forever MJ: A Tribute to the Music of Michael Jackson was the band's followup to their highly successful Stevie Wonder Songs in the Key of Life tribute live at B.B. King Blues Club located in the heart of Times Square. The purpose of the show was to commemorate the sixth anniversary of the King of Pop's death. Highlights of the show included the band's opening number, "Can You Feel It," vocalist Melody Byron's unique cover of "The Way You Make Me Feel," Ray Sullivan's guitar solo on "Beat It," Saryn Vyo's performance of Butterflies, and Kristiana Brook's house shattering performance of "Man In The Mirror." The show was such a success that they are already booked for an encore performance, this time as an Michael Jackson birthday celebration. Tickets are now available for their next tribute on Monday, August 31st, 2015 at 8PM
Things are looking up for DaTFunK as they continue to evolve and prove themselves to be one of the best young and rising acts in the city.
