About Alive 'n Pickin' Happy Hour w/ Evan Felts

Sit down-a-minute here sonny, let me tell a tale of the baddest guitar pickin songsmith to ever rise up out of this here Louisiana mud. Some say he was born the mortal way but I heard from Possum and Billy that he was birthed riding gator-back out of the mouth of the Mississippi. The locals named him Evan Felts. I tell you, sonny, even as a young boy he wowed audiences at every pig roast and tin shack in the delta. Hungry for more music, Evan traveled all across the country, learning at the feet of masters from the hallowed halls of Berklee and hallowed hills of Austin. He honed that pickin-arm to a fine point playing all over the Live Music Capitol of the World for several years before setting his gaze further still. He packed up his guitar one day and headed to that great city in the north, New York. There he found a legion of southern soul soldiers encamped in Brooklyn. They are known as the Gold Magnolias. Their mission? Spreading the gospel of soulful music all across the globe. Leading this legion in their mission is Evan. Armed only with his guitar and golden voice he has traveled the country, thrilling ears and causing booties to shake from Burlington to Boise to Baton Rouge... Shhh, you hear that, sonny? They say late at night when it's real quiet you can still hear the plaintive cry of Evan's guitar amongst the whistling reeds and cicadas.
