"Airline Highway": A Motley Crew of Outcasts Throws Their Friend One Last Bash

A ragtag group of strippers, hustlers and philosophers gathers in the parking lot of The Hummingbird, once a glamorous motel on the infamous Airline Highway of New Orleans. They're all here to celebrate the life of their dear friend, a burlesque performer named Miss Ruby. Now The Hummingbird's home to a party that'll rage through the night, as old friends of Miss Ruby's show up to pay their respects. Manhattan Theatre Club presents Steppenwolf's "Airline Highway", a lively and touching ode to the outcasts who make our world a more fascinating place, by the writer of the Pulitzer Prize-nominated "Detroit" and Tony-winning director of "Take Me Out".
